The type of food that made me dread being anywhere but bed.
Do come here last if you are in the area for any reason. Don't make it your first stop, any attempt at adulting will be avoided after, due to gluttony.
Clearly family operated, was told it would be at least 30 minutes due to the large party who had just ordered. The honesty had me from the get go.
Had the meat sampler plate, order the bell pepper sauce and onions with it.
The bread is unique and perfect for grabbing meet, the meet is seasoned well and cooked perfectly.
I haven't given a 5 star review in quite some time, but I'll return for certain. -

If you're looking for authentic Bosnian food, look no further. I came in today for a quick lunch as I was having a conference nearby. I started with a Turkish coffee, more Bosnian style, just as flavorful and delightful. I ordered the Sopska Salata, a salad with cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, green peppers, and light lemon juice. It was perfect. I also ordered the Sarma, which are cabbage rolls stuff with ground beef, rice, and a blend of spices. They were AWESOME!
By suggestion of the regulars that were there, next time I am going to try the Muckalica, which is like a spicy goulash, and the Pljeskavica, which is a very delicious and special hamburger ;) -

We decided to order the meat platter and shared it, it was still too much food for 2 people. The bread was so fresh. They were already sold out of some of their specialty beers. Our waiter was very nice and attentive.

Bosnia restaurant is authentic, and actually very good. After seeing reviews on Yelp, I had to go and check it out. It is rather small and located on a commercial side of the street, it is clean with basic authentic menu.
Pita/Burek both are originally Bosnian style and Cevapi are the best I had in the United States.
Baklava is must have if you never had Bosnian version of it. It is much richer and juicer than its middle eastern cousin of the same name.
It is worthwhile mentioning that it is an owner operated establishment, and they are very pleasant and easy going. -

A pure European hideout in the plains on Vancouver. You'd think this place should be in Portland. Alas, I stumbled upon this place while traveling. The no nonsense owner is polite and curt. What are you eating from Bosnia that shall make you full and happy? Cheap, delicious food to be had by all as you stroke a wild boar more likely it's your hipster friend.
